As part of the first regional tour by a trans masc comedian, “The Trans Comedian” is coming to Newcastle! After a sold-out debut at Sydney Comedy Festival and viral success on Instagram, Chris McAllister brings their sharp, hilarious, and effortlessly charming stand-up show “I Can Tell” to Newcastle for the first time. With needle-sharp one-liners this is the story of posting a joke a day on instagram for six months about being trans.



HOST: Newcastle Pride Inc is an inclusive LGBTIQA+ charity, founded in 2018, celebrating sexuality and gender diversity across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, and the Hunter Region. We aim to empower people to embrace their identities and build a safer, more inclusive community. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land the Awabakal and Worimi peoples and honour their Elders and LGBTIQA+ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
